An Open House will be hosted on November 17th to celebrate the Podcast’s third Season and offer a rare opportunity to meet and greet the hosts.
“Season Three of Spilling Labrador Tea Under Cedar Trees, is called ‘Distorted Path: Indigenous Stories of the Child Welfare System.’ The season will be 10 episodes, centering the voices of Indigenous Child Welfare practitioners, those who have grown up in care, and everything in between.” shares Madeline Begin, cofounder. “We wanted to do this season for our parents, and to continue to build and strengthen the Spilling Tea community. “
“Historically, Indigenous children have been overrepresented in the foster care system, shares Katelynne Herchak, cofounder of the podcast. “Season three is designed to share the stories in service of healing and to raise much-needed funds for survivors.”
