We are thrilled to announce that our Remarkable team has been selected to present at the 2024 Our Children Our Way National Conference. Our CEO and founder, Laurel Anne Stark, will be leading two 90-minute sessions on skyrocketing community engagement using today’s most effective technology.
The Our Children Our Way National Conference
The Our Children Our Way National Conference provides an invaluable platform for collaboration, communication, and connection among Indigenous youth & family communities and service providers. From Sunday, October 27th, to Wednesday October 30th, presenters will share crucial insights in five key areas: Best practice, policy, community healing, operational development, and jurisdictional pathways.
Our Presentation
Our presentation will shine a spotlight on best practices, equipping attendees with strategies to ensure timely access to vital information which will empower community members to access the services and support they are entitled to. Along with that, it will counter harmful rumours and negativity that can derail even the strongest, most dedicated leadership teams.
Join us for either of our engaging 90-minute workshop sessions on Monday, October 28th at 11 am in room #12, and Wednesday, October 30th at 8:45 am in room #10. A worksheet will be done in-session to ensure that attendees know what steps to take to get the best results for their organizations.
Attendees will walk away with the following insights:
- How to convert skeptics and hostile critics to advocates
- What tech tools are effective vs. which ones are a complete waste of time
- Why you keep hearing “I didn’t know that” from community members – and what to do about it
- How to improve your reputation, (even if it’s currently awful.)
- Ways to handle lateral violence that keep your staff safe.
