Remarkable Communications Expands To Offer MultiMedia Studio Space to Clients, Staff & Collaborators.

This summer, Remarkable Communications secured office space in an iconic arts building at Blanshard and Brougton in downtown Victoria. This new  expansion provides improved accessibility to services and support for clients and team members alike.

About the space 

Originally built as a hospital, but never used in that capacity, the building consists of four floors of artists working in over 18 galleries.

On floors four and three is the Haus of Owl; a creative hub and Coworking community where Remarkable Communication’s offices are located.

In addition to providing drop-in, 24/7 access for our core team members, our new facilities also provide access to top of the line video, audio and photography studio space and equipment.

The Studios – Where Magic Happens

The Garden – A Community Core

At the core of the space is The Garden, a bright and beautiful communal space where regular workshops and events take place. It’s a space that encourages collaboration and inspires creativity​​.

Elevating our team, clients and collaborative partners

Our new facilities provide us with a tangible way to invest back into our team; improve their mental health to get a respite from working alone and from home.  Also providing a place to explore their creative pursuits, connect with community and get access to ongoing media and communications training.

Because our team is exclusively composed of youth, women and people from marginalized identities, it’s important to us to provide  improved accessibility to both personal and professional development opportunities.

Being part of a community that includes songwriters, filmmakers, and photographers means that we have the unique opportunity to network and collaborate with a diverse group of creatives. This can lead to new perspectives and innovative approaches to the projects we work on for our clients.

For our clients, this offers additional and expanded options for crafting compelling messages and sharing their remarkable stories. In addition to our on-site and remote offerings, our new facilities now provide on-site access to cutting edge media studios and equipment.

While also investing back in our team, and our clients, these new facilities have made it possible for us to further deliver on our mission of Amplifying Indigenous Voices.  By providing access to the podcast recording studio and a facility to host the upcoming Season Three Launch party we’ve been able to offer truly meaningful support to our collaborative partners in the Season three production of “Spilling Labrador Tea Under Cedar Trees”, an Indigenous, female-youth founded podcast.
