Over the last year, our work has been profiled in National and International media and is making waves within Indigenous communities in BC. 

We’ve been told repeatedly that we are “setting the standard” for Indigenous communications nationally and internationally.

We are so grateful to our incredible clients for their trust and collaboration. It takes remarkable relationships to deliver such exceptional results.

As we look into 2024 and beyond, with ambitious expansion plans, we are cognizant that to go where we have never gone, we need to do what we haven’t done before. 

As such, we are now seeking Board of Advisors members to help guide us into an exceptional 2024 and beyond. 

Board of Advisors:

Time Commitment: Max 4 meetings per year, max 120 mins in duration

Honorarium: $150-$250 per meeting, depending on experience. Meals included.

Engagement type: Contract, Non-Liable

What you’ll do:

• Review our reports and planning documents
• Provide insight, advice, guidance & expertise to help us achieve our goals
• As appropriate, refer us to contacts that may help us achieve our objectives

Who you are:

• A member of an Indigenous organization/community within BC
• Connected to your culture and able to provide insights and guidance per Indigenous worldview and values
• Considered an active member and preferably a leader in your community
• Excited about helping guide a settler-owned organization to better support Indigenous objectives

The Company:

We help Indigenous leaders preserve their oral traditions, engage their community members, and create buy-in from stakeholders by amplifying their voices, culture, and initiatives.

Remarkable Communications exists to amplify Indigenous voices by providing culturally appropriate, full-service digital and analog communications services. 

The Team:

The team at Remarkable Communications consists solely of youth, women, BIPOC, and people from marginalized identities. Together we offer a wide range of expertise in a variety of digital, technical, and communications areas.

We are a young and nimble fully remote team that prioritizes a positive and fun work environment. Our values include being humble, honest, and willing to learn; so we are excited to learn about your ideas and how they can help us achieve our goals.
